Tattoo Marathon for Fallen California Firefighters

On Sun Aug 30th two firefighters — Capt. Tedmund Hall, 47 of San Bernadino and firefighter Specialist Arnaldo “Arnie” Quinones, 35, of Palmdale — were killed when their vehicle plummeted off a mountain road.

Friends of fallen firefighter Arnaldo “Arnie” Quinones are going to hold a tattoo marathon session and all proceeds will go to Arnie’s widow and unborn child. (Due in three weeks.)

The marathon tattoo session starts Saturday, Sept 5th at 10 a.m. and goes through Sunday the 6th until, says one of the tattoo artists, “there is no one left to tattoo.”

Whether you want to get a tattoo, or not, donations to the fund will still be accepted, says a friend. One of Arnie’s tattoos was featured on the show “LA Ink.”

The Tattoo Marathon will be held at American Made Tattoo, 2873 Sierra Hwy., Rosamond, CA 661-256-7093. Additional parking and food will be available next door at The Wayside Cafe, as well.

Donations can also be made at https://www.fafcu.org/
