Directions

F irst, relax and take the time to read the directions fully. Not giving yourself enough time to think about important steps is possibly what caused us to meet in the first place. (Awkward).

In all seriousness, we can do this! It just takes practice.

Before you begin…

  • Skin must be perfectly healed. Never apply to freshly tattooed or irritated skin.
  • Apply makeup in a well-lit area – natural light (sunlight) works best.
  • Application color and coverage changes slightly as each layer dries.

1.

Clean tattoo area and apply moisturizer.

Use a water-based moisturizer for best results. For a more natural look, remove hair in the tattoo area to keep Tattoo Undercover™ from collecting around hair follicles.

2.

Apply a thin layer of Tattoo Undercover™ using Ferbs Foundation Brush.

Start applying a thin layer from the middle of your tattoo and extend Tattoo Undercover™ slightly past the tattooed area. As you apply each layer, remember to gently blend just the edges around the tattoo to match the surrounding skin. Do not repeatedly brush the area over the tattoo – this will reduce coverage.

It is important to note that thin layers dry faster and take less time to apply than thick layers.

3.

Allow Tattoo Undercover™ to dry completely.

By allowing each layer to dry completely before applying the next layer, your tattoo cover up will blend better, last longer and look more natural. Be careful to let damp, shiny spots dry. When Tattoo Undercover™ is completely dry it will have a matte finish. For faster results, use a hairdryer set on low setting to dry the area.

4.

Repeat Steps 2 & 3 as needed.

Total coverage typically requires 3-5 thin layers of Tattoo Undercover™.

5.

Dust Alibi Setting Powder over the entire area using Ferbs Powder Dome Brush.

Alibi Setting Powder is essential to keeping Tattoo Undercover from rubbing off. It will also help you achieve a natural matte look. Use gentle sweeping strokes and apply multiple layers of Alibi Setting Powder to blend and set the area.

6.

Remove by pouring a small amount of baby oil on hands

Remove by pouring a small amount of baby oil on hands and massage over tattoo; remove with a damp cloth.
